Pre-Anesthesia Instructions
1. You may not have anything to eat or drink (including water) for at least six(6) hours prior to the appointment.
2. Stop smoking as soon as possible prior to surgery and not smoke after surgery.
3. A responsible adult must accompany the patient to the office, remain in the office during the procedure, drive the patient home, and take care of the patient at home.
4. The patient should not drive a vehicle or operate any machinery for 24 hours following anesthesia or the last dose of narcotic pain medication.
5. Please wear loose fitting clothing, including a T shirt, and low-heeled shoes.
6. Contact lenses, jewelry, piercings in and around the mouth, and dentures must be removed at the time of surgery.
7. Do not wear lipstick, excessive makeup, or nail polish on the day of surgery.
8. If you have an illness such as a cold, sore throat, stomach or bowel upset, please notify the office as soon as you can.
9. If you take routine oral medications, please check with Dr. Woo during your consultation appointment for instructions.
